Schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- Primarily 1st and 2nd shifts, with occasional 3rd shift coverage required
- Flexibility to work all shifts is necessary
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical pharmacy services for inpatient care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy
- Maintain compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures
- Participate in pharmacy operations to ensure seamless medication distribution
- Prepare for and successfully complete a competency exam before starting
Qualifications / Desired Experience
- Licensed pharmacist eligible to practice in California
- Preferred candidates have completed a PGY1 residency or have approximately 2 years of recent inpatient experience
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to function in a fast-paced inpatient environment
- Commitment to pass the required competency exam and background checks
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including occasional nights
